Do you think that is Air you are Breathing?

Background:

This Blog was set up after John and Kelly had a reunion with Bethany and Fumiyo who was staying at Esalin in Big Sur CA. Four crazy truth-seekers/adventurer/consciousness explorers back together to recall the time spent in Brazil participating in an Ayahuasca ceremony.

We all wished our friend from Australian, Justin, was with us as well. Bethany and John stayed up late into the night talking about our experiences and our journey in answering the big four questions: Who are we? Where did we come from? What should we be doing while we are here? Where are we going.

There seems to be a third consciousness present when two or more people get together to exchange ideas as it is written. Or one could simply say that one ends up with more than the knowledge/experiences of each added together.

John remembered reading conversations such as this by various authors such as Krishna Murti and David Bohm that happened at Esalin. John could remember similar conversations with Justin in Brazil and now with Bethany. John said he wished that they had recorded the conversaton.

Bethany and John agreed to continue this tradition by starting an open ended conversation recorded in a Blog format and to invite that bloke from Australia to join in. There seems to be an energy calling us to do this and we hope this work will reveal more truth as we go along and to share the knowledge we have been given with others that are seeking that answers to the same questions.

Hello my dear friends. Bethany and I wanted to set up this blog after an exciting conversation we had into the wee hours of the morning. The kind of conversation that all of us truth seekers have with each other where it seems we are on the same wavelength. The kind of conversation where one feels completely safe to express anything without worrying about being judged by the other person. We don't have to be guarded as we would normally be. We can just let it all out. All the stuff we have been reading about. We both commented that it has been a long time since we have been able to have such a conversation and it was almost therapeutic to express to another human being the things we are finding out about how the universe works and how we fit into the grand scheme of things. I think all of us would like to share what we have found with others. Perhaps just putting it out there in a blog format might just be a great way to do that.

I chose the Title of the Blog site and the title of this conversation because I really like the analogy of going down the rabbit hole to look at the interconnectings of the universe behind the curtain. And, "Do you think that is
Air you are Breathing" is my favorite line from the Matrix. A movie I found (Looking beyond the excessive violence) seemed to be closer to reality than one might think. Not the alien thing just the fact that everyone is so mesmerized with the content around them they don't know that it is an illusion. Indeed on the subatomic level air is no longer air just as sugar is no longer sweet at that level of reality.

The analogy of the Red Pill and the Blue Pill from the Matrix got me interested in Ayahuasca initially. I really wanted to have an "Experience" rather than just reading about or knowing about. I was not having much success with meditation. Mostly my fault because I just couldn't get my self to do it everyday. I was hoping that gulping down that nasty tasting stuff would put me on a one way trip and perhaps shatter this so called 3D reality and disconnect me (Who ever that is) from the consensus reality we have all agreed to hold.

How far down the Rabbit Hole do we want to go? I invite you all to comment.

P.S. Speaking of Aya. I looks like our Supreme Court has decided that the heavy had of the gov. should be kept out of religious/spiritual ceremony.

Bethany, do you think this would allow us to use Aya for ceremonies in the US?

Hey Gang,

I set up the blog so that only we can comment but the rest of the world can read about our insights. Kind of like a news letter. It would be nice to see a separate linked log where anyone can comment but I didn't know how to set that up. I kind of wanted to keep the content meaningful and on topic and that is hard to control if you let anyone comment. Also it is hard to follow a conversation if more than a few people are having it. I hope this is OK with you Bethany. We still need to invite Fumyio. I think Bethany is the only one that can do that.

jc, I am so glad you have taken us up on this project. I know that the more I share what was given to me knowledge wise the more seems to be given to me. It makes me so happy to know that I have affected someone else’s life in a positive way just by sharing what I have learned in my life so far.

Let me pose a question to the group:

Do you think that we can walk on WATER?

jc, I just thought of something (I think ideas come to us when conditions are favorable) that I think is significant that relates to this blog that I did not have in mind when we set up the bolg but now seems to be staring me in the face as rather obvious.

As you know it says in the Course in Miracles that it is through the very act of awakening our brothers that we will awaken ourselves. (Paraphrasing)

I know that even though I have been blessed with a lot of knowledge from books I know for sure I can't figure all this out on my own. In fact I have it on good authority that it is not possible to "Figure it out" with the intellect. (See Dr. David Hawkins books)

Part of the allure of ayahuasca is its power to put the user in direct contact with the spirit world.

For most tribal people, the risk was not so much one of dying but of not living properly. It was the quality of your time on Earth, not the quantity, that was important to them. As a modern culture we have forgotten this part of the dream. Our relationship to the natural world and the natural world’s to us.

An objective, if you will, is to change your dream, your way of thinking about this reality. Not just through talking about it like we are doing here, but to feel it deep inside ourselves with such intensity that it will forever change our dreams. Being aware of our unity with all living things; animals, plants, minerals, mountains, air, water.

Becoming attuned to every single thing, to the sacredness that surrounds and inhabits us. The concept of We Are All One. In having said that, consider your relationship with water? Can one come to an understanding with this relationship that both parties agree to? Shifting your dream or reality of “what is water” and ones relationship to it. Finding a deeper relationship to the reality of water and to onesself. If so then you may very well find yourself walking on water due to that agreement.

Hey John and crew,
Yes all the holidays are the same down here. Regarding working this stuff out with the intellect....forget about it.

The course in miracles is about turning the intellect on itself to expose the dirty tricks of the ego. We have to use our intellect to get to the experience of the oneness. Which is what I believe, he game is about. To experience the oneness BEFORE we seemingly die so we can escape the birth/death cycle.

Its becoming clearer and clearer to me that its all about healing or bringing together everything that appears to be outside of ourselves. Because there is really nothing outside, outside ourselves. ( To quote Dr. Freddy Wolf)

Every evil act you see in the world is really YOU. Just an ugly aspect that you are denying in yourself, repressing and projecting onto the outside. When we start looking on everything with nonjudgemental love, we start to see the way God sees and the more we do of that the more miracles start to happen.

The more "healed" you become, the more everybody seemingly outside yourself becomes healed. There is no one out there, mate, its all you!

Thats why aya is so amazing, it can knock you straight into that perspective. Thats where we need the intellect though, to integrate what we experience. I believe the "medicine" endeavours to heal us on all levels, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

I pray that I am able to look on everything with love, then the universe will disappear.

Check out a remarkable book called "The disappearance of the universe" by Gary..... (cant remember his surname) it puts the course in miracles in amazing perspective.

love ya lots, talk soon
